Anne is the Chief Physician at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Section for Molecular Genetics, at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark (from Nov. 1999). She is the Professor of Clinical Biochemistry with Focus on Translational Molecular Cardiology at the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark (from Dec. 2009). She graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Copenhagen in 1981. Her Scientific education included 1 year at the University of Copenhagen and the Lipid Clinic at Righospitalet, 3 years at Hagedorn Research Laboratory, Gentofte, Denmark; and 3 years (87-89) at British Heart Foundation’s Molecular Biology Research Group, London, UK. She is the Member of the steering committees of the Copenhagen City Heart Study and the Copenhagen General Population Study. The current chairman of European Lipoprotein Club.
